Mysticpuma
All it says is: " Hi everyone, This is a build-in-progress destined for upcoming dlc 6.0. Can anyone identify: 1) Make 2) Model 3) Variant of this aircraft, and give your reason(s) why? Good luck! DD_Arthur
Mystic; I know you’ve still got a hard-on for Oleg but are you going to spam this part of the forum with Cliffs ‘news’ about stuff that might appear between now and eternity? Why not create just the one thread for CLoD and post in that? Perhaps the forum moderators can help out here and move it all into one topic? 1
Blooddawn1942
I second that. I am very excited about every piece of news regarding CloD. It would be definitely helpful to have one dedicated CloD Thread were all CloD news are gathered.

Anyway, I changed the title of this one, so if the mods want to merge the other two threads into this, hopefully the peace can be restored. Boom
Anything additional to Clod is very welcome. Don't know about others, but I luv this sim; especially the Tobruk addon.
Jaguar
I think it's a Fw 190 A-1. The outer wing weapon seems a MG FF 20mm cannon, while the inner weapon looks likes a smaller caliber MG17. Hence the model/variant...

Feldgrün
I'm excited about the opportunity to shoot down early B-17s with early FW-190s. It'll be a recreation of why fighter escorts were so badly needed for heavy bombers. Given TFS's history, I think late 2024 is overly optimistic. I'd guess 2025 at the earliest.

Feldgrün
Team Fusion's last release was in Aug 2020 (Desert Wings), so has this project been worked on for over 3 years? If so, I'm concerned about their pace. I understand it's a small team, but at this rate technology will outpace any completed project. kissTheSky
I think they worked on trusky, VR and visual update for the most part of the 3 years since Tobruk.

I don't think that is entirely the case? I am sure TFS got Tobruk/North Africa and negotiated that BoX won't go there? Be interesting to see what happens now Fulcrum own Clod... does that free 1C of that agreement?

But from a business point of view it makes no sense for IL-2 GBs to do an installment covering BoB, Tobruk or the Channel Front 1941-42. They would probably have to include all of the ship and planes in the IL-2 Dover series that saw action in BoB, Tobruk or the Channel Front 1941-42 to actually make it worth their while. If they did an IL-2 Battle of Tobruk with 10 aircraft plane set and the Gladiator wasn’t included, people would say “this is nice but I’m going back to Desert Wings to fly a Gladiator vs CR.42”. And if the largest ship included was the Tribal class destroyer or Leander light cruiser, people would be going back to Desert Wings to attack battleships and heavy cruisers. They did say they have doubled their team though and as a professional team working full time, they could easily produce that content? Realistically, what other areas in WW2 are available other than BoB, Africa, Italy and the Pacific? Could they head to the Pacific? I wonder if the new technology they discuss is working aircraft carriers? Edited September 26, 2023 by Mysticpuma
