Blitzen
A Call of Duty iteration ( has anyone given it a go?) Hopefully we can expect some of it's immersive qualities? Edited February 11 by Blitzen added info 1
golani79
This is a mission from Call of Duty Vanguard and no game on its own.

Yes I knew that .I guess I was referring to the extra immersion of the video esp the deck scenes.
Chief_Mouser
@Jason_Williams Please, please, please don't get any ideas from this 💥. It hurt my eyes... 1 Quote The Bell Inn, Bath. Live music venue and real ale pub (thebellinnbath.co.uk) I am no longer in the homepage picture. I would have been but the bus home came along before they took it 😟. Jason To be clear, you're not suggesting that "fun" is "not [your] goal?" Just kidding. I'm looking forward to a "fun" and exciting sim. We all are. 1

StoneChain
No harm in taking some inspiration/influence from some of this. Not the arcade-y nature, nor the infinite ammo and unbreakable damage model, but the terror of the tracers coming up to meet you, the smoke filling the sky, the radio chatter, the feeling of being one small tooth on a cog in a grand machine; those are all things I'd welcome in a "fun" new combat flight sim.
Trooper117
If there was anything like a hint of Vanguard in the new game I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy it... 1

JFM
Good luck having a conversation on a deck full of radial engines at idle and full throttle. 😆 1

Lusekofte
I kind of liked the cockpit and plane itself. But that was basically all

CPT Crunch
I'd have to pop some downers to fly that baby, talk about over stimulation.
IckyAtlas
The only thing I see here is the models like the humans, the pilot in cockpit, the smoke, the sea, the ships etc. Some visual qualities for sure, the rest is crap.
Feldgrün
When he first got into the cockpit, I thought, "this looks like it could be really cool." It quickly went downhill from there. After dropping the first bomb, he quickly became a double ace with unlimited ammo against slow, level flying Zeros which often appeared right in front of him. 🙄
Mysticpuma
Oh my God!!! I didn't have the volume on at first and then glanced back at the screen at 1 minute 24 seconds.... I spat my coffee out 🤣🤣🤣
Elf
Thanks for vid Blitzen. I've seen this before. It is deceptively pretty in the first couple seconds. Visually interesting at first glance, but terrible in every other way. The escorts are so close they'd likely be fragged by any hit to the carrier. They also look like they are sitting still and the water is "flowing" around them. In short everything wrong with the modern day video game industry. They don't understand their source material or the subject they are representing. Hope my comments are NOT taken as a personal criticism! lol.
