There are some used MS FFB Sidewinder 2 sold on different platforms from time to time and they still work fine. It might pay to check if interested in getting a FFB stick. Nontheless it would be nice to get some new and "affordable" products.

The Kola Map from OrbX will come to Early Access on May 3rd. This looks quite nice - do you think this setup would also bei useable as a workstation? Or would you need to change too much to use it for other stuff than flight simming (comfortable use of mouse and keyboard)?

Just finished the last episode which honestly felt a bit long. Overall the show was quite ok but for my taste had too many ups and downs in terms of quality. In the end it didnt really "feel like the book" but more of just stringing together multiple single events of different characters without really getting to know the characters. Some things I could not even remember from the book - maybe it has just been too long since I've read it or they took some creative liberty from time to time (If I had to guess I'd say the latter). My rating of the single episodes goes all over the place from 6-9 .. overall I'd rate the show a 6.5/10 which in the end is quite disappointing after waiting for such a long time. Even if the average rating of the single episodes combined would give a higher score but somehow the "bigger picture" just wasnt there -.- In the beginning I thought that it might be on par with BoB and The Pacific for me but sadly I was mistaken. Most certainly this show wont get a rewatch from me. But I'll read the book again!

Started this show yesterday and I'm about to watch episode 2 now. Very well done imo and as you've already pointed out it feels quite authentic. Already a recommendation from my side to anyone who is interested in the slightest in such settings.

Damn the new episode hit hard.. 😥 Could have been even more emotionally hard if the show wasnt progressing that fast imo. [Spoiler] Watching the interrogation at the end was real tough. Only then you realised the extent of what was happening during all the chaos in the Münster raid and how many ships they lost. [/Spoiler]
