Every time I see that picture the first thought that comes to mind is to wonder how much that hole knocked that propeller out of balance? Bet it made for a bumpy ride home. Wheels

Welcome to the forum @NECyclone. Am glad to read your input on game play. You may consider dropping in and saying Hi in the Introductions forum or the Welcome thread in that forum. Wheels

What is even better is that it was coverage of a positive nature. Which so far is the only type of news I have seen regarding this sim. Everyone seems to be genuinely excited about it. Wheels

Saw this video on another forum regarding Combat Pilot having a booth at the FSExpo. The video is just over 5 minutes long. @Jason_Williams name along with Entropy.Aero are mentioned near the end of the video letting everyone know who is behind the project. Ship movement under attack.
wheelsup_cavu replied to Chief_Mouser's topic in Wishlist and Suggestions
Since we are talking about ships maneuvering how about we have the ability to program the waypoints for one ship and then simply attach the other ships in the fleet/convoy to that lead ship. Once attached in this manner they would maintain their current station/position in the fleet/convoy relative to the lead ship. The convoy speed would automatically be limited to the slowest ship overriding any speed programmed in the lead ships waypoints that exceed the slowest ships top speed. Once the fleet/convoy comes under attack each ship would be allowed via triggers or their own AI logic to evade the attack using their fastest speeds and best maneuverability while also avoiding the other ships in the fleet/convoy. Once the attacks were ended the ships would return to the lead ships course even if it had been destroyed. You would also need the ability to detach the ships from the fleet/convoy and send them elsewhere, especially if damaged. You could create a repair base where damaged ships would be sent for repair or even a supply base that not all ships would be sent to resupply. Wheels -

7 episodes into season 4 now. That 81 episodes in 4 months. Seeing the old technology that was state of the art at the time, especially computers, is interesting. No cell phones, no cameras in every building, seeing pay phones just about everywhere. Definitely a different, albeit not necessarily simpler, time... Wheels

I can work with metric and standard values quite readily but would you PLEASE revert back to using X as East-West coordinates, Y as North-South coordinates, and Z for elevation/altitude on the maps. Wheels

Saw Dune: Part 2 yesterday. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15239678/ I did not see the original Dune nor have I read any of the books so I was not sure how much I would enjoy the movie. (Friend wanted to go who was a big Dune fanatic and I did not let them know that information before we went.) Another thing I did not know going in was that the movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes long without an intermission as is the case with several movies of that length. As for a review I found it to be an entertaining movie and I did not notice the time the movie ran until I got outside heading to my car and saw 3 hours had passed. That alone tells me the movie was good enough to keep me interested for that length of time since I did not leave to go to the bathroom or back to the concession stand because I was bored or uninterested in the story.
