  4. This was the ONLY thing I saw regarding this historical event anywhere. I even forgot about it and I was fortunate enough to have met Dick Cole in person in May of 2017. Still have the Challenge coin and signed book I got from him that day. He went up for a flight in the B-25 Pacific Princess that day. Lt. Col. Dick Cole "Start" 17 May 2017 Lt. Col. 6. Yes. The spacing should be a minimum of 3 times the diameter of the rivet being utilized for each hole. Calculating Rivet Spacing Calculating Rivet Spacing https://youtu.be/Is5KcjW1o-Q Wheels
  7. +1000 That has been a major bugaboo of mine going all the way back to 1946. I am aware that you could exit the aircraft in 1946 if you ditched unless the no parachute option was enabled. When the no parachute option was enabled you would just sit there forever or burn up in your cockpit even if you made a perfect ditched landing. That never made sense and I lost several AI squadron mates during Campaigns who should have been able to get out of their aircraft because of that limitation. Wheels

  11. Lol, most are pretty accurate. 🤣 There must have been a policy change at Amazon since this video was made in March because the last two items they sent me were all beat to heck. They shipped the items in bubble pack envelopes instead of boxes. The DVD I bought and its case were cracked due to insufficient packaging as was the data cord they sent a few days later. One end of the data cord I bought was crushed making it unusable. I have no clue what happened to crush it but I think an elephant may have stepped on it during transit. Wheels
  12. I am actually quite surprised that the rivets in that vertical line are that close together. They should have had a similar spacing as those in the Horizontal row of rivets. Wheels

  15. Netflix evening: Smokey and the Bandit 2 Still a good movie for nostalgia sake but it was not nearly as good as the original. I think Sally Field was still dating Burt when this movie was filmed since I see no other reason to do it since it comes straight on the heels of her Oscar winning performance in Norma Rae. It also happens to be their last movie where they worked together. The Highwaymen It was after midnight when I finished watching Smokey and the Bandit and this one came up in my suggestions. Gave the trailer a watch and I was going to just queue it up to watch it today. Instead I thought I would just give the first ten to fifteen minutes a go which turned to twenty-five then I ended up watching the entire movie. IMO it is definitely one of Costner's better movies since Dances with Wolves. Wheels
  16. Looking down the barrel I can't help wonder what machine was used to put the rifling in that gun. Wheels
  17. When it comes to completing an objective the AI in 1946 has always been suicidal. I am guessing that you are using the stock DGen campaign generator. From what I remember it only uses Hidden objectives for the missions which makes it difficult if not next to impossible to know what you are supposed to be attacking. One thing you can do is open the mission in the FMB and see what triggers the mission success and alter it some to make the mission objectives more achievable. Most likely DGen has set it at 100% which if it is a Ground Attack objective is nigh on impossible if the Target circle is set at 3000 meters. Wheels
  18. Smokey and the Bandit https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076729/ Still a fun little trip down nostalgia lane. The first time I saw it was in the theater before I was even 13. Mom messed up. 😁 Do not remember why Dad or my sister were not with us but it was just her and me that day?? Wheels
