Feldgrün
For me, it's the Beaufighter Ic in IL2 Cliffs of Dover Blitz. I love ripping up bombers in Battle of Britain scenarios with its impressive firepower.
javelina
For MSFS, the Heatblur F-14 and Got Friends F4F. In DCS, both the Turkey and the F-5. Getting in a little practice in anticipation for the Rhino. Later today, I was going to dust off the A-4 and give her a try again. When I fly IL-2, I always seem to end up in the P-39, (just love that bird) 5 Quote MSI MAG Z790 Carbon, i9-13900k, NH-D15 cooler, 64 GB CL40 6000mhz RAM, MSI RTX4090, Yamaha 5.1 A/V Receiver, 4x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe, 1x 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD, Win 11 Pro, TM Warthog, Virpil WarBRD, MFG Crosswinds, 43" Samsung 4K TV, 21.5 Acer VT touchscreen, TrackIR, Varjo Aero, Wheel Stand Pro Super Warthog, Phanteks Enthoo Pro2 Full Tower Case, Seasonic GX-1200 ATX3 PSU, PointCTRL, Buttkicker 2, K-51 Helicopter Collective Control

Sea Serpent
This is going to appear like a strange choice for this thread, but I mean it. I did Kerbal Space Program. I designed this rocket stack, tested it over hours, and then flew the yawwy thing up into space, HOTAS and all. Maybe not as much a flight simulator as much as an aerospace simulator, but this isn't for dummies. Here are my screenshots from tonight: (I'll put further space adventures back in the ksp thread) Flying it off the navball, not as stable as you might think: Now, really, this is quite an advanced payload to deliver to low Kerbin orbit, seriously... I think I may have moved into the era of starships with something like this.🙃 Edited January 14 by Sea Serpent
MustangMike
"We got every mission that you do, and we fly 'em all better than you! Yeah all you f*****rs wish you flew the Viper!" BMS is an incredibly complex sim, but its worth learning to be able to enjoy the best dynamic campaign ever in a flightsim... This is the way study sims should be! Make one aircraft the best it can be and focus on giving it an amazing immersive environment to operate in. None of this DCS crap with a dozen aircraft from a dozen different eras and parts of the world. Lately though I haven't had much energy for sims and I've actually been having a lot of fun playing the Ace Combat series. Played through 4, 5, and Zero on a ps2 emulator and now I'm enjoying 7. For sure not a flightsim, but thats not the point! its a fun arcade shooter where you aim for high scores, enjoy the story and listen to a good soundtrack! Highly recommend to turn off your brain, suspend your disbelief and just have some fun. MSFS also gets a mention, the A2A Comanche is probably the best modelled aircraft in any sim right now, and I've also had lots of fun in the Vision Jet and DHC-2, among a bunch of others! Really great, polished sim that other devs should be taking notes on! 5 Quote Working signatures? What a novel concept!

For a period of time, I did fly BMS, in my pancake/trackir days. That was long, long ago. Last year I did try BMS in VR, and it did look very good. Maybe if BMS and DCS ever went out on a date, we'd end up with a kick @$$ sim with loads of awesome birds, with a dynamic campaign capability.... 🙂 4 Quote MSI MAG Z790 Carbon, i9-13900k, NH-D15 cooler, 64 GB CL40 6000mhz RAM, MSI RTX4090, Yamaha 5.1 A/V Receiver, 4x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe, 1x 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD, Win 11 Pro, TM Warthog, Virpil WarBRD, MFG Crosswinds, 43" Samsung 4K TV, 21.5 Acer VT touchscreen, TrackIR, Varjo Aero, Wheel Stand Pro Super Warthog, Phanteks Enthoo Pro2 Full Tower Case, Seasonic GX-1200 ATX3 PSU, PointCTRL, Buttkicker 2, K-51 Helicopter Collective Control

javelina
That A-4 is built like a little brick s*** house. An incredible bomb truck. I launched from CVN-72, loaded too bear with clusters munitions and Napalm, (7x clusters and 2x Napalm). After about a 20 minute flight, vectored into my target and plastered an NVA convoy. Managed to get 11 out of 12 vehicles, (after making 3 runs to do so). Went back to Mother, and had a bolter on the first attempt. Cleaned up, and then came back around. Caught the 2 wire, with only 250lbs of fuel left. Trust me, I was sweating bullets.... The LSO gave me a grade C. (B@st@rd). 😀 2 1 Quote MSI MAG Z790 Carbon, i9-13900k, NH-D15 cooler, 64 GB CL40 6000mhz RAM, MSI RTX4090, Yamaha 5.1 A/V Receiver, 4x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe, 1x 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD, Win 11 Pro, TM Warthog, Virpil WarBRD, MFG Crosswinds, 43" Samsung 4K TV, 21.5 Acer VT touchscreen, TrackIR, Varjo Aero, Wheel Stand Pro Super Warthog, Phanteks Enthoo Pro2 Full Tower Case, Seasonic GX-1200 ATX3 PSU, PointCTRL, Buttkicker 2, K-51 Helicopter Collective Control

Cannot wait to have everything set back up and be back flying.
