  1. similar for me. I expect I'll be in the cockpit for a long time with this one. (she was my favorite bird when I was a youngster)
  2. hmmm.... you, like me... I'll bind up the basic axis settings, and then go on a free flight... gotta do it! I'll then be hunting down the initial training video's... and hope that Chuck got an advance copy so he's got a jump start on his guide for it... 😃
  3. Literally 2 weeks! oh the irony... 😁
  4. USS Franklin, April 1945
  5. These fellas drew the short straw, and had to man the AA battery that afternoon.... Tuff gig...
  6. You're up as being the LSO this morning, and you get dumbo here... I probably would've waved him off for coming in the wrong way.... 😁😆
  7. finally got the download, (took a bit of waiting for google). will try her out soon.
  8. Hornet, April 1942
  9. Kingman, AZ.... 😞
  10. Life is full of choices. Regardless, if it works for folks looking for a more simple flight sim bird, fine. I'm pretty hard core for wanting details, so I'd make a hard pass on these 3 modules. (I have them all already in the full fidelity versions). Agreed Sea S. Seems strange for their initial selection, you'd think they would've introduced something new. But then again, this is probably a quick turn for them (revenue and hopefully new users).
  11. when I saw, I thought the same thing. Must be the perspective of the photo. I wouldn't imagine the deck dipping down on the bow of a Carrier.
  12. Yep, flew the stars and stripes for a bit. Came across this. She's in Boston Harbor, January 1946
