  1. Nice! The sign at the back of the headstock is Joe’s signature as well. I took it to a meet and greet for him to sign it. I call it a JS6400 as it’s mostly a JS6000 with 24 frets :).
  2. I admit, I’ve never watched “The Office”. Neither the original, nor the US version. 🫣
  3. Thanks! All of my finishes having been wiped on oil/poly, I haven’t looked into primers a lot, but at least two builds will require some studying to to (metallic baby blue finish and a chameleon like the Ibanez JS90, you can tell I’m a Joe Satriani fanboi :))
  4. Good eye! Yes the Ibanez JS clone is with a compound radius wenge fretboard and birdseye maple neck. In fact, all of the builds are 250mm-360mm compound radius. The list you have is a great list. I’m afraid my soldering skills would allow for a static free amp, so I’m leaving amp build(s) too much later. good luck with your builds. I’d love see them here in this thread if/when you have stuff to share..
  5. Dang. This may finally have me gettin ATV+
  6. I ride/rode (roadie). Haven’t been back on it since the after the long healing collarbone fracture year. Classic over the handlebars.
  7. I take a lot of breaks while building, so my builds take quite long, but if I were to focus on one build, and work on it every day, I think it would be possibly 2-3 weeks. Of course, the type of finish adds time as well. If you’re applying paint, it adds about however long of a curing time it needs.
  8. That’s really cool! How long did it take to build it?

    Good Music

    He’s the best!
  10. I can confidently say, I did not read any names spelled out in lights. 🫣
  11. Oh if it’s something to be flown, I definitely did NOT find it.
  12. It’s been at least 6 years since I last started IL-2 1946, so even if I did, I don’t remember.
  13. That looks really good, but without explicit pricing data, I’m willing to bet it is at eye-watering rough order of magnitude 😂. I wonder how fast its motion profiles are, and how it handles heave. 🤔
  14. As many others voiced, a global controls setup would be very limiting. I don’t have DCS, so I don’t know its system, but I like how iRacing does it. The first time you assign controllers, it becomes the “global base” for every other assignment afterwards, during which you click a checkbox that says “use custom controls for this car”. That way, you wouldn’t have to assign axes that would be the same for all aircraft (pitch, roll, yaw, etc.) every time you’re setting up for a new aircraft.
  15. Thanks! I can’t play to save my life either 🤣. My wife says I spend so much time building, no time to practice. 🤔
  16. I think “music” would be the best sub-forum to put this. My hobby, one of them anyway, is building solid body electric guitars. I still consider myself a novice when it comes to it, but I’ve a number of finished builds, and roughly around 8-9 that would be anywhere from 10% to 95% complete. Here are some photos.
  17. Pretty much this. I own both, the blitz, and Tobruk, but neither is installed on my system as going back to pancake is only a possibility with triple monitors for driving sims if I wasn’t able to run VR for a reason. For me, I’d have to hang my virtual parachute, if VR is no more.
  18. If I may, it would be great if the developers were in contact with Sigma Integrale, and users had 0-day compatibility with that motion platform.
  19. I can hardly land on a carrier in best of weather conditions. I’m definitely ejecting over enemy territory and restarting the SP career if the weather looks like that 😄
  20. Yeah, if there’s a choice, I’d prefer land based as well, just because I’m complete sh!te at carrier landings. 🚒
  21. I am OK with it NOT being a study sim, I’d rather have the flight and damage models correct than having to remember to switch fuel tanks every so often. In game voice chat I see being important for co-op multiplayer, but I’m mostly (if not 100%) single player.
