Great looking project. Finish sanding is the part I’m woefully underperforming. All my guitars need to be seen from a distance 😄

I can see myself going back to 2D with triple monitors for racing sims, but in all honesty, I don’t see myself going back to monitors for flight sims at all. For me, if the choice becomes being limited to monitors for whatever reason, it would be hanging the virtual pilot’s goggles for good.

Please let us know about the TECS when/if you get it. My GVL is serving me well but I’d like to hear your thoughts as I think I’d be interested in the electronic detents version once/if it becomes available.

Well, I’m not surprised. Granted, they had their issues with the corporate changes and all, but a lot of people that have been waiting for visual and/or VR update (like me) have lost patience and resigned to the possibility that it may never come out.

I am, knock on wood, still on the v1 cable. I did get a hand me down v2 cable from a member on another forum, but haven’t swapped it yet. My issue is with the face plate. The fabric on foam has started coming off the seem of plastic part. FWIW, I’ve had the G2 on its dedicated power strip that has an On/Off (reset) switch and just power off the power strip itself after each use. Just a convenience.
