Feathered_IV
Yeah that’s the CGI artist who goes by the name of Tochy. I often like to watch his documentary videos as his sense of motion, flight and choreography is still light years ahead of the hysterical nonsense that Hollywood produces.

BornToBattle
Didn’t Bantam Warbooks come out with Sakai’s story at one time?
Aferg
My copy of Sakai.s story was published by Naval Institute Press, by Sakai, with Martin Caiden and Fred Saito, simply titled ,"Samurai!". ISBN-13 978-1-59114-755-8. It's a great read with terrific insights into a very different mentality and culture to the Western worlds way of thinking.
Aferg
A terrific clip and wonderfully described in the book, especially the story of getting back while wounded.
Props
Yeah my old copy, long since disappeared, was the Bantam paperback. Great read. I find myself looking for and devouring anything I can find on Japanese aviation during WW2 these days.

Feldgrün
I just finished reading "Samurai" about a month ago. Great book! It made me want to "fly" in this game from Lae on missions to intercept Allied bombers. It's impressive that Sakai kept flying given the amount of damage the Lae airfield experienced.
