Best is to get "Invite People" link from Discord itself, not sure why these browser links are causing issues? My Discord name is "Icer", which I usually change to display as "GPatricks", is that an issue? I have been on the Combat Pilot Discord channel multiple times just about every day for the last month and so far everyone has been fairly well mannered in their discussions. I think it is probably better somewhat now. It is a busy Discord for sure - I tend to check it off and on daily and really have not run across much of that. Scams and security issues I do not need, so I stay away from Discord. No such thing as a free lunch. My squad doesn't use Discord. Also, I find the Discord interface to be mostly aimed at kids, childish and infantile. I am pleased for folks who like it, but Discord is just one of those things that is not for everyone I suppose. From a long time forum user it is my opinion that Discord is not in any way shape or form better. It is just new which that in and of itself makes it better to the newer social media users since it's not what their parents or the old friends of their parents use. Quite frankly compared to forums Discord is a disorganized mess and a half. The search feature of Discord is also hit and miss, more miss, when trying to find anything.
