It's visually realistic, and the DM sometimes shows a hole in the wing that allows you to see through it, or a part of the frame. Sometimes the DM shows a flapping piece of aircraft skin. FuriousMeow Posted August 31, 2023 Share Posted August 31, 2023 There's a lot missing from what Sakai wrote, it could easily have been not wanting to get their easily flamed Zeros perforated. There are plenty of accounts of unescorted bombers being decimated in Europe, they aren't as tough to shoot down as some would lead to believe.
