  1. Holy smokes, that looks incredible! Very nice work there M8!
  2. Yes Gunny! Very interested for the flying Leathernecks.
  3. I'd say early access on June 4th, 2024. Something about that day, trying to put my finger on it....
  4. SBD - "Slow But Deadly..." 😀
  5. when you said beer (and board games), this game to mind. We used to play Jutland (Avalon Hill) with beer and pretzels (literally).
  6. You inspired me, so I took out the P-38 just a while ago. Did a nice short run from KIWA (Phoenix Gateway) to KSEZ (Sedona). I love the fact that she has counter rotating props, so it negates the whole engine torque thingy. But I've been flying the PMDG DC-6 (Cargo variant) a lot, and always have her fully loaded. When she's a hefty gal, she's really heavy on the controls. So jumping into the Lightening, whoa! Like riding a bronco compared to the Liftmaster. I'm now thinking of doing a run thru South America with the P-38. Could be fun. 😁
  7. I would concur. It works great for my limited ability to move around. (I don't fly MP, so don't see the whole stats and KD ratio angle thingy....)
  8. to be honest, I spend more time in the F6F (only because I have limited time to fly, and it's hard to get through all of the birds). Got them both on a sale, saved a bit. Honestly, both are really great modules. Flyingiron did a bang up job. Since you have the Corsair already (and having a Pratt & Whitney radial), maybe go with the P-38?
  9. indeed, been keeping my eye on this one too.
  10. the DC-6 is my go to bird. Gotta love all of the dials and switches. 😀 Also have the F6F and P-38. For the F6F, I completed an around the world fight with her. Took a while, plus with real weather, I was snowed in a few times. Looking forward to the day we can fly the F6F in combat, though I'm more than excited to start with the F4F! (Awesome little bird)
  11. Not even "You've lost that lovin' feeling" (Righteous Brothers)? 🙂
  12. thanks for the info, will definitely check them out!
  13. give it time, and I'm sure Norbert will have the VR neck saver ported over (if this capability isn't native). time will tell, but I definitely use neck saver in the other flight sims (including the civ one). Getting too old... 🙂
  14. great clip, thanks for sharing!
  15. either way, crowdfunding or EA, I'm in! 😀
  16. My CR-10S (and Ocotpi print server) are ready and willing! 🙂
  17. Hello, I'm Jav, and I'm a VR addict. Thank you Jason and CP, for planning to bring forward my favorite theatre. Flying this world in VR would be awesome!
  18. oh my, do these little plastic birds bring back memories. I've built so many over my time in life. thanks for posting the pic's!
  19. I go back to Jr. High, and being on a Decwriter and 300 Baud modem..... (Yep, I was in the nerd class, way, way back then...). Man, what leaps and bounds in tech since then. It would be awesome to fly any of the USN WWII birds in VR!!! Looking forward to the day Jason, thanks for kicking this off!
  20. too say the least M8! Indeed, bring it! 🙂
  21. Awesome to see some of our flight sim VR mate's reporting in. I know we all want to have a PTO/VR sim experience! Can't wait, (literally). 🙂
