Wow, I did not know that. The set design and outdoor shots are first rate. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a production with such great acting. I saw a brief interview with the actor that plays Buntaro recently. On screen he is such a powerful figure that absolutely radiates menace. In real life he is just a skinny reedy-voiced guy.
