Video footage of IL2 Cliffs of Dover Beta 4K landscape tiles compared to current version

Very cool to finally see a side-by-side of old vs new graphics, really shows off what the new truesky is capable of besides just some new clouds.

At this rate though, I wouldn't be surprised if I'll be flying Wildcats over Midway in VR before I get to fly Clod in VR. Very glad I held off on Tobruk. They can have my money as soon as they can actually release that VR update.

Working signatures? What a novel concept!

Wow, I have been playing CloD back in 2011 until late 2012 when I was a student on my old Acer laptop at ~30 FPS. Who would have thought that this game will continue to look great, even more than 10 years after the initial release.

Because we still work on it every day🙂

The ability to write C# to add to the FMB is the key to a great sim functionality !Until this comes out you should try Cliffs multiplayer again it is as strong as any sim in player ability. I myself am hoping for this sims succsess as many of us want to fly in the PTO.

Looking really good, eagerly awaiting the VR implementation, cannot play combat sims anymore without it.

Pretty much this. I own both, the blitz, and Tobruk, but neither is installed on my system as going back to pancake is only a possibility with triple monitors for driving sims if I wasn’t able to run VR for a reason.

For me, I’d have to hang my virtual parachute, if VR is no more.  :pilotfly:
