Finally took some time out to watch this one last night.  It's a good film...but it did not need to be 3hrs long.... Also Christopher Nolan' obsession with doing everything practical really made some of the films climax moments really underwhelming... I felt the same way about "Dunkirk". CGI and visual effects have their place in film if used properly...

Overall, I'd recommend checking it out, it's definitely a film to watch in a theatre with large screen and good sound

Still can't wrap my head around Matt Damon as General Groves. IMO he just does not carry the professional gravitas for the role.

I really enjoyed Oppenheimer.

How do you feel that Matt did with his portrayal of Groves?  Paul Newman's shoes are some big ones to fill.
