Sea Serpent
I’m also really impressed that it’s basically 4 different, really unique variants, even including a fully functional two seater. Sometimes you just know from the start that you are going to like a plane, and I do.
javelina
Feb 23rd, 1952: What I thought was a routine mission, "showing the flag", and helping to enforce a no fly zone along the North bank of the Yalu River.... I was jumped by 4 Imperialist bandits!!! Keeping my wits, I managed to flame 2 of those decadent Western b@st@rds before taking extreme hits. Unfortunately, out of ammo and nearly out of fuel, I had no choice but to RTB. I managed to get my crate back home, though heavily damaged. For my actions, I was later awarded: "Hero of Socialist Labor, 2nd Class" (for the return of the people's fighter, and its eventual repair and reuse) Edited February 24 by javelina syntax 4 Quote MSI MAG Z790 Carbon, i9-13900k, NH-D15 cooler, 64 GB CL40 6000mhz RAM, MSI RTX4090, Yamaha 5.1 A/V Receiver, 4x 2TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe, 1x 2TB Samsung 870 EVO SSD, Win 11 Pro, TM Warthog, Virpil WarBRD, MFG Crosswinds, 43" Samsung 4K TV, 21.5 Acer VT touchscreen, TrackIR, Varjo Aero, Wheel Stand Pro Super Warthog, Phanteks Enthoo Pro2 Full Tower Case, Seasonic GX-1200 ATX3 PSU, PointCTRL, Buttkicker 2, K-51 Helicopter Collective Control

kestrel79
After watching Masters of the Air I've been itching for some bomber action. With limited gaming time with 2 little ones, I saw Bomber Crew: Complete Edition was at my local library for checkout for Nintendo Switch so I picked it up. My daughter asks to play "The Policeman game" every night now (she thinks the pilot on the front looks like a police man) and we do a mission before bed. We have named the crew after our family and friends and she lets me know when someone is hurt or on fire. She's really into it...although it was hard to try and explain why Grandpa and Auntie Jess "pretend died" and we had to replace them after a rough mission.
Feldgrün
I'm shredding Blenheims with a Bf 109 F-4 using underwing 20mm cannons in IL2 CloD/DW. I enjoy seeing all of the debris coming off of a plane hit with cannons.

So it's a repainted Martlet. I can only wish it was a F4F in the Pacific. 😉
Trooper117
I know that, you have told us before that it's a Martlet... don't let a little humour spoil my joke! 1
Sea Serpent
The last week or so, I've thrown myself into the Mirage F1 for a few hours a night, and its starting to come together. An excellent simulation of a relatively straight forward, late third gen plane. Maybe my new favorite, especially the two seat version. vs MiG High Drag SAMP-250 delivered from 200ft, level run, 400kts (probably the first time I hit something.) Blooddawn1942
What an coincidence. The Mirage grew on me immensely too since 2 or 3 weeks. I'm absolutely loving it.

They were painted black and were intended for the role of night fighter because of the supposed better visibility of their open cockpits. They were never used in action.
