Forum Spammer Bots have arrived! Exterminate!

Everyone,

Our favorite forum spammer bots have arrived. We were hoping we would not have to take more drastic actions so soon to battle them. We wanted to have our forum as open and accessible as possible so our community could grow. We are considering what we can do and if we have to restrict some things or make sign up a little more tedious to prevent the Spam we apologize in advance.

If you see any spam you can report it to this account and we'll take action.

What does a "spam bot" look like? Can you easily identify one? Can we see an example? 

I'm not a spam bot (but maybe that's what a bot would say).

Generally, if it looks like a scam, is selling ED products or Crypto, you’re pretty sure it’s a pyramid scheme, or is sponsored by an ExPat Nigerian prince, you can probably post it here. Now that the Mods are getting up to speed, we can largely take this off the Dev plate.
