  1. Well Arma Reforger is the test bed for the devs to evaluate as I'm sure you are aware, but I think it will still be quite some time before Arma 4 turns up...
  2. Yes this... I enjoyed making missions with the old IL2, providing maps and screenshots of the target for pilot briefings etc. But just could not get into the more complicated mission editors with later sims.
  3. Good question... it will be interesting to find out.
  4. That's what I'm looking forward to as well...
  5. Quite difficult I'd say, unless the Zero pilot had nodded off... 😄
  6. I've been a fan from the original Operation Flashpoint to the present day... waiting for Arma 4 next!
  7. Yes, been keeping track of this myself... looks very promising.
  8. No mate... that stops you getting killed! 😁
  9. I think we had our update via Shamrocks interview chaps... certainly gave me a boost!
  10. Yes Arthur... after blood tests, MRI scan and finally a biopsy (nineteen samples later) it came back clear... all good, just regular PSA blood tests to make sure things are still stable.
  11. lol... I'm in that boat! I've been having prostate problems for the last few months, but got the all clear a couple of weeks ago, so regular blood tests now to keep an eye on things
  12. Well, we will see of course... it's only my opinion, but from my perspective I hope all of the talent and expertise goes into giving us the best PTO 'flight sim' series to date. It's going to take time to cover the whole Pacific theatre of course, I'd hate to see that concept being diluted into other areas.
  13. You are going to control a ship in a flight sim?
  14. The Ki 44 was actually used early on in the war in Malaya... The Japanese had an experimental unit combat testing them. It was classed as a heavy fighter that could dive and climb better than the Ki-43, but wasn't as aerobatic. Hopefully we will see it eventually.
  15. Trouble is with Boomerangs, they never get to where you want to go... they keep turning around and going back!

    Good Music

You can't be a member of the Divine Wind with horrible long greasy hair like that... I mean, it's a fire hazard in the enclosed cockpit environment!
  17. I have to admit, having played the scenario of the Pearl Harbour attack a couple of times with the old IL2, I never felt the need to go back to it. Malaya/Singapore, Guadalcanal, Flying Tigers scenarios etc I would play again and again... just my take on it.
  18. Just to add to my list above... 3 titles from the Janes aircraft series of books on WWII aircraft... these are very large books with epic illustrations from Rikyu Watanabe. Includes the aircraft history, cockpit layouts, version history and technical details.
  19. Two great models there... Nice PTO start to the thread!
