CV, CVL, CVE...... we need all of them. Especially the USS San Jacinto, CVL-30.... VF-51.......
Yes! Since it sounds like we wont have a lot of terrestrial real estate to start with, lets hope there are plenty of floating postage stamps for both factions.

I used to beta test for a couple payware GA producers for FS9 and FSX. And I've being flying WW2 combat sims since 1999. I'd love to give this one a go.

If one happens to crash their plane into the sea, does this not make it a seaplane? Or a seafloorplane? 🤔

Just to back up what Gambit said, here's what Jason said in another thread:
Hopefully a Ki-84 at some point down the road as well.

I'm definitely cool with some Guadalcanal action.

I will support it either way, just in hopes of eventually getting a Ki-84.

I could do without Steam, personally.

I hope this new engine can give us a smooth experience with these types of ships. I remember flying Pacific Fighters with the lots of ships, and the AAA could turn even great computers into a slide show. There are A LOT of guns on these boats.

While I feel the islands would look amazing even in "the other sim", with such small landmass and such vast seas, they really have an opportunity to spend some serious GFX budget on water here. But lets be realistic. Isn't rendering water just a dance of crazy polys and vertices? Sim creation has always been a balancing act for the wrestlers of polys and the warriors of the vertice. Needless to say, I'm sure under Jason's lead everything will be stunning.
