  1. When I was researching a model build of the Hornet at Midway, I found that was an issue for not only the size of the roundels, but some planes did not even have uneven locations and there were a few that had not painted the red dot out yet either. Even the formatting of the squadron identifiers on the aft fuselage were not uniform. Maddening when I was trying to depict the launch the morning of Midway.
  2. I never saw that one, so I will stand corrected that one exists. (I refuse to count the arcade shooter crap from CoDV). I think my point still stands that it is under represented though. 🙂
  3. I hope you are right. Too many times we see important battles that you fly ONLY the fighters.
  4. Not one legitimate flight sim that I have ever seen has put this beautiful plane that was a workhorse of the US Navy. Fighters are great and all, but attack aircraft did the real damage. And early war, there is no denying that the SBD was one of the best made. PLEASE put the Dauntless in!
  5. Hello everyone. My online handle is AngelicCypher. I was born and raised (US) Navy brat and have been into WWII Pacific Theater history since I was 4 or 5 years old (in the early 80's) ever since my dad was stationed at Barbers Point NAS in Hawaii. I dove headlong into researching the Yorktown class, Midway, SBD's and PBY's pretty hard over the last 10-15 years. I have also volunteered as a living history crew member on the USS North Carolina and help do some restoration work on her quad 40mm guns. I have been into video games about as long as well. I love space and real flight sims, but most realistic ones focus on European Theater. The last decent one for the Pacific that I know of being almost a quarter of a century old at this point (MCFS2) and won't run on most modern systems very well anyway. This has left me longing for a game like this to come out. I do stream on Twitch with a little YouTube content. My channels are going to be heading more flight sim direction here shortly because that is the stuff I really enjoy. Not a plug that anyone needs to come watch me, but more saying that I spend a lot of my spare time in this realm. This is making me what to go and get a new throttle and rudder peddles. Keep up the work guys!
  6. Love my G2! I do sometimes have issues with Window Mixed Reality. The program is kind of a POS. When I launch things through Steam VR it works better though.
  7. You mentioned "radical and risky". Have you guys thought about working with streamers/content creators on either YouTube and/or Twitch. A lot of games have done this just to help get the word out there about their games. Most companies develop some sort of program that streamers can apply to which will give them perks as a streamer and the company gets free advertising when said streamer creates content with their game(s). I myself am part of one game community as an official creator and have seen many benefits to this even before a game is released.
