Ludo
Some planes have been built as replicas in Japan in the recent years, a B5N1, a N1K2 and more recently a Ki-61. Again I can't find good sources about those, who built them, for which prupose, where can we see them. The B5N1 and the N1K2 are in a small museum. For the Ki-61 I have found the maker, Doremi Collection but again I can't find english sources/websites about those replicas so if anyone has some feel free to share 🙂 some information about others museum/planes in Japan are welcome too 😉 https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=九七式艦上攻撃機+レプリカ https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=紫電改+レプリカ https://www.sorakasai.jp/ https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=飛燕+レプリカ https://www.doremi-co.com/ki61-1-hien Edited April 2 by Ludo
BlitzPig_EL
Kawasaki has a restored original Hein in their corporate museum, and at least two are in storage in New Zealand as well, awaiting restoration. Edited April 2 by BlitzPig_EL
Ludo
Good to read that, the Hien is so rare, glad that some are in a restoration process. 🙂
