There's a lot missing from what Sakai wrote, it could easily have been not wanting to get their easily flamed Zeros perforated. There are plenty of accounts of unescorted bombers being decimated in Europe, they aren't as tough to shoot down as some would lead to believe. Gunners though, they should be a lot more accurate than they've become in the other sim.

Seeing conflicting info, and found a supposed engine plate for a FM-2 that has -56. Well, as long as the correct HP is modeled the exact engine model isn't as important. 🙂

I think the FM-2 had the Wright R-1820-65 and not the -56. Not that it matters much now, but if it ever makes it in don't want it just falling off the end of the carrier due to insufficient power of the -56.
