Hey guys, there is a Florida based company that holds the type certificates for the Catalina PBY-5A in both the States and Canada and they have just announced they will be producing a modernized version of the iconic seaplane. The details are to be announced today at Oshkosh. https://www.flightglobal.com/fixed-wing/catalina-aircraft-relaunches-iconic-flying-boat-eyes-military-sales/154255.article The really interesting part for us and this project is that these guys have been responsible for supplying parts for existing PBY's restoration for the past 14 years. I'm sure they would be a valuable source of information for Jason ad the team if/when they decide to build this beautiful aircraft.
