Boom
Read today that Christopher Shores, that giant amongst air historians, passed away on 23 October at the age of 87. He will be sorely missed. Chris broke new ground with his style of air war detail and analysis, now followed by so many other authors. And he brought to life the characters and events of the less well known theatres of war. I will forever be grateful of his work. And will treasure his books, now more than ever
