Boo
Its a long time since I went on the Victory but I remember it was a great experience, especially in the ever more more confined lower decks. She's still offically in service and, as such, makes up about 1/4 of what is left of the firepower of Royal Navy, with the added bonus of not having to share anything with those fly by nights, the RAF. 🙂 Edited October 22 by Boo Post coffee spel check 3

Meanwhile, let's take a spin back in time to 1949 and off Cape Trafalgar brave men are diving on the wrecks of the French fleet to try and recover valuable historical artifacts.

He was coming to the end of a 25-year career... as a drummer. I don't suppose there was much of a career path for drummers back then. 3 Quote The Bell Inn, Bath. I doubt you‘d lasted anywhere near 25 years aboard a ship of the line in any capacity other than a drummer. 1

Just 9 years after Mers-el-Kébir. A tad insensitive. At least they didnt blow it out of the water using the King George V Mind you, once you've seen one massively historic battleship I suppose you seen em all... Sea Serpent
That photo actually reminded me of Civilization where you can have 1800s frigates and musketmen in the same battle as modern jet fighters and icbms.
