TBH, in the actual film you could miss by going to the kitchen to fix a beer. I think it only takes up about 20 seconds of the already spase soundtrack from memory.  I just re-watched the film after years with my lad for is A Level media course. The whole thing, especially the Sfx and make up hold up incredibly well.
