    Well, I don't do Discord as I can't agree to their terms and conditions. 

    Makes me very fed up as a customer to see Discord getting information and not the proper forum site that I am a member of.  

    Plus the Discord business model is pure data mining, they are another security risk that I just don't need and I find their interface infantile and annoying (seems designed for little kids). 

    No such thing as a free lunch.  I find it worrying the way they are sucking everything in and worrying that folks are willing to be sucked in.

    Thank you Dauntless for bringing this to our attention.  Very sad news indeed.  I have so many of his art works at home that I have run out of wall space.  He painted ships as well as aircraft and captured his subjects so well.  I have many of his fantastic prints signed by himself and various famous aviators.  Also, I have a copy of his HMS Hood signed by one of the only three survivors of that tragedy.  I have also visited the Aces High gallery on a number of occasions and viewed the original of his "Last Flight Home".

    As a side note, I highly recommend the Aces High Gallery.  I met Gunther Rall there once (at their old premises) many years back.

    Do you use VR?

    I have been using the same VR headset for almost 5 years now.  Time flies!  :pilotfly:

    I have flown in my VR headset for 4 hours and sometimes 5 hours and often flown 25 plus hours per week.  Mind you, I have modified my headset harness to customise for my own comfort with a head band and even added a chin strap (like a real pilot headset) which just happens to make things feel even more immersive too.

    I am looking to upgrade this year and I must say that the Varjo XR-4 Standard version looks very promising.

    Dear Admin,

    I am trying to change my display name from 56RAF_Talisman to display name Talisman.  This is because I have now left 56 sqn and am no longer a member of that squad.  Sorry if I am being a bit dim, but can you help?

    Please consider adding support for SimShaker Wings supported devices like Gametrix JetSeat/JetPad/HF8 haptic feedback devices.

    This is the sort of haptic feedback that can be provided:

    SimShaker enables fantastic flight simulation immersion.  I use SimShaker Wings for IL-2 GB and SimShaker for Aviators with DCS in conjunction with my Gametrix JetPad.  Some of my friends also use the HF8 haptic feedback seat with this too.  This technology is highly recommended for immersive flight simulation.
